Restaurant & Diners
The College operates from a main campus at Keptie Road, Arbroath. The campus comprises the Isla, Esk and Clova Buildings, the new Community Access and Learning Centre (CALC), Creative Studies Workshops (CSW) and the Helping Hands Nursery.
These buildings house an attractive range of purpose built generalist and specialist rooms and workshops, providing an excellent learning environment.

Our new Library exists to help you with all aspects of your College life and study. We have a wide selection of books, magazines and journals related to all subject areas taught within the College.
Internet access is freely available and our staff are on hand to help and advise whenever necessary.
Our extensive Study Skills section may well be an invaluable place to start your College career, providing tips and advice on all aspects of studying, including writing reports, writing essays and research.
The Learning Technology Suite (LTS) is an area in the College where as a student you can relax, meet friends, study, access the internet, e-mail and social network sites in a friendly and flexible learning environment. Staff are always on hand to support, help and advise whenever necessary.
The LTS has a total of 49 PCs and 30 laptops, installed with the latest software students will need for producing essays, reports, databases, spreadsheets and much more. Both PCs and laptops can be booked out in advance and wireless access throughout means that students can study anywhere in this area. We also have study areas which are spaced throughout the Suite for individual, group and class study.
The LTS also houses our 'Drop-In Computing' where students can study a variety of IT courses from beginner through to advanced level. From fun leisure classes making cards and calendars to certified courses such as ECDL, Drop-In runs throughout the year and is a truly flexible programme with classes to suit all.
The café style tables and a soft leather seating area which are located close to vending machines means you can relax with refreshments throughout the day and catch up with the latest news and college announcements on the Plasma Screen.

The College has lots of options when it comes to food ensuring that there is something available throughout the busy College day.
Clova Diner
Located on the ground floor of the Clova Building, you will find homemade soup, appetising main courses and desserts. There are also quick fix options in hot filled rolls, a fine selection of cold filled rolls and sandwiches, snacks, hot and cold drinks choices and homebaking.
Isla Diner
Located on the ground floor of the Isla Building, this Diner offers homemade soup, appetising main courses and desserts. There are also quick fix options in hot filled rolls, a fine selection of cold filled rolls and sandwiches, snacks, hot and cold drinks and homebaking. Freshly baked pizzas, omelettes, panini’s and toasties are all available to order. Hot, oven baked potatoes with a variety of fillings and, in addition, a deli sandwich and salad bar is available with tasty breads and rolls for something different.
Coffee Bar
A relaxing space to enjoy a cappuccino and bite to eat. The Coffee Bar is on the ground floor in the Clova Building.

Forget Jamie Oliver's "Fifteen", this is the restaurant that you want the number of. After a stylish revamp over the summer, our top College restaurant is back in business with a new look and a new name, "56" – the year of the College's birth. Using the best local produce, the hospitality students will create top class restaurant quality food for a fraction of the price.

Hairdressing Salon
The hairdressing salon is located on the top floor of the Esk Building where students work with the latest equipment and techniques. Real life models allow the students to provide the practical element of consultation, cutting, perming, blow stying, colouring, long hair work and mens hairdressing. Essential complementary skills in customer care and salon management are also practised.

The College nursery, which provides childcare for students’ children aged 2˝ to 5, is registered with the Scottish Care Commission, and works in partnership with Angus Education Department to provide care and education in accordance with the Early Years curriculum. Education funding may be available for children 3 to 5.
The nursery is behind the College’s Isla Building on Keptie Road, in a newly refurbished facility opened in early 2004. Though it can take 40 children, places are in great demand, so it’s wise to ask about a place for your child as soon as possible, by contacting us on 01241 432600.
