Students give Legion a makeover

Introduction to Construction, Painting & Decorating students from Angus College have recently finished a makeover project at the Royal British Legion. The group of students revamped one of the rooms in the Helens Street branch giving the walls a complete overhaul and a fresh lick of paint.  
 
The students were not only able to exercise their practical painting and decorating skills in a real life environment but also made a valuable contribution to the local community. It took the group three weeks to complete the project in which they completely transformed the worn out function suite into a bright fresh environment.  
 
Chairman of the branch Steve Nicoll said “The students have worked extremely hard on this project and the final result has been fantastic. I would like to thank Angus College tutor George Brown who lead the group who worked outstandingly well as a team. I hope that we can continue to build on our relationship with Angus College following this highly successful project.”
