Top Artworks Going For A Song at Angus College

Notable artists such as Jackie Gardiner and Norma McLean have been helping raise funds for a student art trip by donating valuable pieces of work for sale. The art students had an enthusiastic turnout for silent auction at the College’s Enterprise Centre, selling over eighty pieces of art, including work by themselves and their tutors.

College lecturer, Allan Paris, says “it’s been a great chance for the students to put their work on display alongside some established and well known artists and,of course, it’s all in a good cause, helping to further their experience.”

Thirty five students will be leaving for a study trip to Budapest in the middle of March.
