ANGUS COLLEGE STUDENTS GET TOGETHER TO DISPLAY THEIR WORK
Spectators have been flocking to an exhibition of photographs by Angus College students at Arbroath Abbey. The photos were all taken as part of the popular Digital Photography and Still Images classes, which are held in College Learning centres across Angus.
Course leader, Kay Nicol says “It’s been fantastic to bring students from Forfar, Brechin, Montrose, Arbroath and Kirriemuir together for this exhibition. It’s given them so much confidence and the response has been marvellous.”
The digital photography classes are just some of the part time computing classes held at the various centres throughout the year. A new batch of these classes including, Digital Technologies, Interactive Internet, Webwise and PC Passport: IT Systems are just about to start again in Mid April. Kay says “I don’t think people always realise just what’s on their doorstep. You don’t have to travel far to get high quality training.”
Forfar Student, Ruth Boyd loved the Course and the fact that she doesn’t have to travel to attend. She says “It gave me confidence to take good pictures and was really interesting too”.
The next exhibition will open on the 29th March and will run for 2 weeks entry to view the exhibition is free.
