ANGUS College’s Kirriemuir Learning Centre is opening its doors on Saturday (22 April) not for classes but for coffee, tea and a chat.
The Centre, based at Fairlie House, Kirktonhill, is hosting the Open Morning, from 10-12 noon, for anyone who wants to find out more about the Centre’s Drop-in Computing Classes.
Mags Kilcullen, who runs the classes, said: “The classes are flexible, fun and provide the perfect opportunity for anyone, of any age, who wants to learn computing skills at a pace the suits while meeting new people in a relaxed and friendly environment.
“Our Drop-in students use the sessions for a variety of reasons whether it be to keep in touch with friends and family around the world with email, design calendars, posters, invitations or learn more about the internet and computer software. The possibilities are endless. That’s the beauty of the drop-in sessions.
“Some of our current students have been busy preparing examples of their work and this will also be on show on Saturday to give a taste of just what can be achieved.”
