HNC MANAGEMENT - DISTANCE LEARNING

Who is this course aimed at?

The HNC in Management provides an initial qualification and training for students who are in a management or supervisory role or those aspiring to such a role.

What entry requirements will I need?

Relevant work experience.

How and where will I study?

12 credits make up the Group Award and this will be studied over two years on a part time basis with supported distance learning.

What will I study on this course?

The main aims of the HNC in Management are to provide a range of managerial competences which are required by both public and private sector organisations. This includes topics such as leadership, motivation, teambuilding, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal and quality management.

Students who do not wish to commit to the full course can study two units as an introduction to the study of management. This includes:

-Leadership at Work

-Managing and Working with People

Job and progression routes?

Opportunities for promotion into a management position.
