This short course is suitable for absolute beginners to computing and is designed to encourage learners not to fear computers, the internet or e-mail. The course covers getting started using a computer, connecting to the internet, understanding and using internet browsers, completing online forms and effective searching on the internet and email. Qualification: Successful completion of this course will result in a 0.5 SQA credit at SCQF level 4. Entry Requirements: No requirements needed this course is designed for the student who has never used a PC before.
