The course is aimed at gardeners/landscapers and employees of local authorities.
What entry requirements will I need?
Applicants should have a sound educational background consistent with the demands of the course which is aimed at Intermediate 2 level. Applicants should be employed in a relevant industry but a place could be offered to enthusiastic amateurs. Entry is subject to interview.
How and where will I study?
The course will run on the College campus and will include a number of educational visits. One year part-time (one day per week) or it may be possible to study individual units.

What will I study on this course?
SCQF Level 4 & 5
Students will attend theoretical and practical sessions in soft landscaping, garden design, machinery, horticulture, plant identification, hard landscaping and estate skills.
Job and progression routes?
An SVQ Level 2 qualification can improve job prospects, increase opportunities for promotion and allow progression to SVQ Level 3.
