Certificate In Hospitality & Catering - Full Time

Who is this course aimed at?

This Certificate is designed to give a good introduction to those pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. The course will incorporate a range of national qualifications.

What entry requirements will I need?

You must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for cooking and you will be required to meet the high personal presentation and hygiene standards of the industry. Applicants will be asked to attend a two-stage interview.

How and where will I study?

In our kitchens and restaurant you will experience advanced modern cookery techniques, menu planning, presentation skills and patisserie as well as high level customer service techniques. There may also be an opportunity to study on a European placement.

What will I study on this course?

This is a highly practical course with the following key areas being highlighted: practical cookery, bakery, customer care, personal presentation, food service, food hygiene and organisational skills.

Job and progression routes?

Successful candiates progress onto an Angus College Diploma.

Employment within the local industry such as Commis Chef or Front of House personnel.
