Advanced ECDL - Presentations

Who is this course aimed at?

This is aimed at those wishing to increase computer competency and literacy standards, leading to increased job satisfaction, and enhance career opportunities.

Please note that the materials and exam will use Microsoft Word 2007 as the word processing package, Microsoft Excel 2007 as the spreadsheet package, Microsoft Access 2007 as the database package and Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 as the presentation package.

What entry requirements will I need?

You should have passed your full ECDL and/or have extensive experience in using a presentation package.

How and where will I study?

This course is delivered by distance learning. There may be opportunities to study through class attendance.

What are the funding options for the Advanced ECDL courses? SDS (ILA200)/Self/Sponsor

Cost for each Advanced ECDL course: £160 (based on session 12/13 prices. 13/14 pricing to be confirmed)

Exam Re-sit: £10.00 + VAT

What will I study on this course?

SCQF Level 6

Advanced Presentation requires the candidate to understand presentation planning and design considerations and use the presentation application to produce advanced presentation outputs. The course will look at understanding target audience and venue considerations in presentation planning, create and modify templates and format slide backgrounds. You will also enhance a presentation using built-in drawing tools, import various other media elements, and many other features the package has to offer.
